Debra Ciaffone-Mastrangelo: Owner /Stylist

Since the early stages of her life, Debbie has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry. What started out as a fun thing to do had turned into a lifelong career. She has been licensed for more than thirty five years, and received her education from Bronx Beauty School.

Debbie’s career began at Above the Crowd Salon where she worked and trained under eight master stylists. She trained in highlights, color, cutting, and styling. Working with these stylists provided a wonderful foundation for her future career.

She continued to work for Hair Gallery Salon, took classes in permanent waving and cutting. Also working in Hair Dimensions, Julien and Company Salon, and Evangelista Hair Salon . This is where she continued taking classes in hair techniques and also took make-up classes. She worked for Evangelista for over ten years.

In 2007, she opened her own warm and welcoming salon, named Salon D’Avanti located in Somers, New York with her partner Doris. They worked and managed this beautiful salon. After five years they moved the salon along with our talented staff to a much larger space in Somers. This was to accommodate their growing staff of stylists and to expand their business. While doing so, she still provided that warm and welcoming feeling to their customers.

Many of her dedicated clientele have followed her throughout her extensive career. Debbie is known for creating a satisfying experience, going far and beyond the purely technical aspects of cutting and coloring. Her passion is developing a special connection with each client, because beauty truly comes from within each person.

Trish: Stylist

Trish is an experienced hair stylist, who is passionate about her work. She's experienced in all phases of hair design, including precision haircuts for both men and women, color, highlights, lowlights, keratin treatments, styling perms, and upstyles for special occasions. Trish is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the school, and has continued her education since graduating in 2007. She is currently certified in Coppola Keratin Smoothing Treatment, as well as Brazilian blowouts smoothing treatments, and is licensed to practice cosmetology in both New York and Connecticut. Trish takes great pride in the work that she does, and places high value in listening to clients and understanding their needs.

Cookie: Stylist

Cookie has been a well known hair stylist in the somers area for many years. Cookie's experience is with keratin treatments, perms, color, haircuts,and also elegant updos for all occasions

Cheryl: Our Receptionist

Our receptionist is here to help you in any way that she can. Her goal is to provide excellent customer service for both clients and stylists.

You will feel immediately relaxed as this friendly and caring lady assists you with scheduling your appointment, introduce you to our facilities and helping you with information regarding our Salon, products and services. Without her, our team would be incomplete.

Doris Cucchiarella – Owner /Stylist

I have recently moved locations , almost tripling our size, in order to accommodate our growing clientele. Thirty-five years later, I have continued to educate myself, as well as provide on-going education for my staff. To ensure my clients receive the best service, and personal experience the industry has to offer. I continue to remain excited about my profession, and my business.

I began my training and love as a hairstylist while attending White Plains High School. I have always known that my skills and training, as a hairstylist would not only become my career, but a lifelong passion.

After receiving my hairstylist license, I immediately threw myself into the world of hair. Dedicating myself to several opportunities which had developed in Rye, Harrison as well as in White Plains, where I still continue to accommodate my faithful and growing clientele. For over eight years now, I currently own and operate Salon D'Avanti, with my partner Debbie.
